Effective immediately, the Blog will be available in two languages. We’re not rocking the boat here, because the primary ClickCoach language is still German. We’re still based in Zurich, so that makes perfect sense. However, as I do review the Blog statistics every now and then, I am aware that we have plenty of readers from other countries who are obviously interested in the topics we publish here. And that’s the main reason we’ve decided to expand the Blog and publish all new stuff in German as well as English.
To make the transition easier, I’ve decided to used the well-known WordPress plugin WPGlobus. So there will be no auto-translation but instead I’ll actually write the article in both languages. This is a little bit more work but it’s really the only authentic way to do this and also it’s a bit of fun because it allows me to adapt my sentences and the content appropriately, so that it chimes with the readers in each language.
So what about previous posts? The plan is to publish new pages in both languages but also to translate older stuff as time goes by. The most popular entries will be translated first and eventually all the posts should have German and English versions. And of course, there are the reader service pages such as ‚Hammertime‘ which are now also available in both languages, starting today.
